Job description
This position based in our Repair Center in Tarragona, provides technical support to our customer to insure proper seal and sealing system selection and successful operation of our products.

His/ Her main responsibilities will be to:

• Work on specific assigned projects, which focus on rotating equipment management and reliability improvement programs and concepts.
• Lead and manage rapid response & standard change outs. Coordinate all related activities.
• Responsible for the close tolerance measurement of rotating equipment for seal upgrades and retrofits.
• Examine failed products, providing written and oral explanations to customer and assist with start-ups and troubleshooting.
• Provide technical support to our sales force and customers to insure proper seal and sealing system selection and successful operation of our products
• Prepare technical and commercial proposals for products for customers.
• Interact with Flowserve departments as needed to support the order process and assure on-time delivery of seal orders.
• Perform customer surveys using Flowstart.net and develop and finalize standardizations of installed seals.
• Resolve non-conformance issues with respect to engineering and manufacturing standards and participate in Continuous Improvement Projects (CIP).
• Assist in training customers as needed.
• Assist in developing new methods of solving problems and modifying existing seal designs to meet customer needs and improve seal life.

Titulación: Mechanical engineering diploma.
Experiencia: 3- 5 years of experience in similar function.
Idiomas: Fluent in English.

Informática: Must be computer literate, standard windows programs.

Competencias:

• Preferably proven rotating equipment experience / mechanical seals and pumps.
• Preferably knowledge on Flowserve product line.
• Must have strong technical experience and be customer focused.
• Must have excellent oral and written communication skills and have ability to organize and prioritize responsibilities.
• Must have good commercial skills to support sales when interacting with the customer.
• Must be flexible, adapt to change

Percentage of travel required
Up to 20%

Remuneración: 2.700 €/mes.
